  5. Prepare 1 tbsn red chilli pwd,1 tsp turmeric, 1 tbsn garam masala,
  6. Take 1 pod garlic,1 inch ginger and 5 to 6 green chillies
  7. Get 1/2 cup curd,2 tsp fenugreek leaves and few coriander leaves

There are many versions of how this dish was created and most historians agree that the iconic. Add the chicken and stir to coat with the sauce, then stir in the honey and cream. Instructions to make BUTTER CHICKEN 😊:
  1. Marinate the chicken with chilli pwd,garam masala,1drop orange plus little red colour.1 tbsn ginger, garlic n chilli paste.1 tsp salt n mix.now heat the vessel add 2 tbsn butter n add chicken n give a quick stir fry as u can see in the pic.masala is coated well.remove from vessel till half done
  2. Now chop the onions, boil the onions with 1 tsp turmeric n 1 tsp salt,par boil the tomatoes n remove the skin.now take all above masala red chilli pwd,curd,chillies, ginger garlic,soaked cashew,coriander pwd.grind the masala in fine paste.
  3. Now heat vessel,put oil n butter together now add the masala.let it simmer for 10 mins as the oil floats up add the chicken with cream n let it simmer for 5 mins
  4. Now take dry fenugreek leaves n dry roast it.now crumble it n put on the chicken curry.
  5. Now heat up one piece of charcoal. It should be red hot.now take a bowl made of silver foil.put the coal then a piece of butter. Now quickly keep it above the curry n close the lid to give smoky flavour.this should be done as it enhances the flavour of this dish.lastly garnish with coriander leaves and fresh cream.serve with rice,naan.

To make the sauce: heat half of the oil in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Fry the shallots and onion until soft and transparent. Stir in butter, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, half the garam masala, the chilli powder, cumin and bay leaf.
