- After the water dries, leave the pilau to cook for another 10min after turning off the fire under steam..
- For the kachumbari
- Slice all vegetables thinly in circles except the hoho into thin slices…
- For the onions soak in salty water for afew minutes to remove the bitter taste of onions
- Mix in a bowl and toss
- Drizzle in some lemon juice and mix
- Add the chopped dhania
- Refrigerate for few minutes before serving
